I am a lover of all (well most things) wine, food, traveling, and running. I started this blog in February of 2009 when I was studying to become a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, as a way of documenting all the new things I was learning about wine and honing in on my passion. I passed my exams in May of the same year and discovered that receiving my certification was just the beginning.
Since then I decided to combine my background in education with my passion for wine and founded Vindulge Wine Education & Consulting in hopes of sharing my knowledge with others who wish to learn about wine in an unpretentious manner. I now teach classes, lead events, and consult clients in Oregon, Washington, and beyond and continue to write about my experiences with wine, food, travel, life, and random things in between here on this blog.
When I’m not writing or teaching my clients about wine, you’ll likely find me running, cycling, cooking, exploring new wine regions, or playing with my two small Chihuahua’s with my husband in Portland, Oregon.
So as I continue to learn, study, taste, and travel, I will continue to write about my journey, my experiences, and of course the many wines I plan to consume along the way and I hope you join me.
For more information about me please feel free to check out my website or visit my bio on this blog.
